2024 suburban switched fuse in engine

I have searched all over for info and even the owners manual is for crap. Just a simple description on what exactly each fuse controls would be great… but nope! I have a low pull accessory LED light that I want to come on with the vehicle and off when I shut off the vehicle. I read that someone suggested the F26 fuse passenger side fuse box, but can anyone suggest like a 10amp switched fuse in the engine bay fuse box? I had used IGN2 in two other vehicles for my add a fuse but on this suburban… I don’t have that exact label.. similar is the MISC IGN… I have no idea what the IGN MIsC fuse power ..read more

Installed Illuminated Bowtie

Hi All, I just joined this forum and this is my first post. Yesterday I installed an Illuminated Bowtie on my 2021 Suburban RST. I love the results, but I wanted to provide my insight and experience to do the job. There’s really two parts - access and remove the current Bowtie and access the electric harness on the drivers side headlight. It really doesn’t matter which one you do first, but long story short - the Bowtie is a piece of cake and the electric harness is a total pain to access and unclip. First - remove two size T15 star/torques screws to remove the hood latch handle. Next take ..read more

2009 Burb ZW7 Shocks with coil spring air towing bags

All, I have a 2009 Burb 1500 that is primarily used without towing, however, from time to time I do tow trailers close to the max limit. I have the ZW7 suspension. I use a load handling hitch with the car trailer and the cargo (20ft) trailer. I also have an after market radiator cooler. I was thinking about adding aftermarket coil spring air bags to the ZW7 weaker springs. I don't think it will interfere with the (ZW7) Nivomat capabilities. The ride might be a stiff, but I am towing so no issues. Can anyone think of any issues or concerns with adding the air bags inside the coil springs ..read more

Right front caliper failed on way home from airport and heated things up quite a bit - drove about 40 miles before I noticed burning smell. Went to Advance Autos to get new caliper and pads and they asked if the pads were vacuum or hydro boost and did the caliper need fingers. They said such info would be on a white label under the hood. Can't find it or any other info on what I should use. Its a 2008 LT 5.3L Suburban Any help appreciated. Thanks ..read more

Location of Water Drain Under Vehicle?
Chevrolet Forum » Tahoe & Suburban

Where is the location of the water drainage pipes exit? I went under the car, but I can't seem to find them; my idea is to unclog from bottom to top. I found wet floor on the driver seat, when I pour water on the sunroof channel it doesn't come out (if I do it on the passenger side it does). I already unclogged from top to bottom, through to sunroof drainage, but it didn't help that much....so I guess if I find the bottom exit under the car, I can try doing it bottom up ..read more

2003 Tahoe- Question about Fuel pump/fuel level indicator

Hey Guys, looking for a little help. I recently replaced the fuel pump on my 2003 tahoe. Aside from having to cut an access hole, it was relatively straight forward. However once I got done and closed everything back up, my fuel level indicator isn't working. I obviously put one on the pump. I guess my question is this: On the wiring harness their is 4 wires. A purple, a grey, and 2 black. I assumed that both black are both grounds, and it shouldn't matter which black I hook to which black. Ground is ground. Is this an accurate way of looking at it? I really don't want to go through the troubl ..read more

2021 Sub 2nd row seat sliding lever disengaged

The kids somehow managed to cause the sliding lever to become disengaged on the 2nd row passenger side seat. I can fold it down and up but cannot use the front lever to slide the seat back so someone can sit there. I checked the torx screw on the lever and it is fully tight. The mech is disengaged. How do I access it to take a look to trouble shoot? I don't want to start ripping panels out without knowing what I am doing. Any tips or videos ..read more

All, I have a 2017 Tahoe LT with 110k. Recently it started making this whine from the bellhousing area. The noise is present through all RPMs and sounds very "tinny". For a time, the noise came and went, but now it's all the time. Anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions would be great. Thank you ..read more

Both Rear Windows Not Working

Since I bought this 2019 Tahoe Premiere (from an auction) and both rear windows won't roll down. Not from the driver door switch or the switches at both doors. I don't hear any click that would indicate that there is current to the window motors, so I thought it's a fuse problem. But I can't pinpoint the exact fusè for them if there is one. Any suggestions ..read more
