I have a dell xps laptop running Windows 8.1 ( 5GB SSD, 8GB RAM, i7 core) that says Checking media and then adds "[FAIL]" on startup. It repeats this loop continuously. There is no windows boot manager in the BIOS boot options that says it should have when I have googled this problem. I assume that when I add the windows boot manager in the UEFI boot options, that this problem will disappear and that the checking media fail error message will not be there after I have added the windows... Hi, hope this is the right forum for this i bought a TFUFR USB WiFi Bluetooth Dongle Adapter from Amazon UK It says there's no driver to install. i plugged in but it's not showing a network to connect to. In device manager its showing in "Other Devices" with a black exclamation mark within a yellow triangle. i've tried updating drivers for this and on "Network Adapters" but all up to date.
