I'm part of a small local nonprofit looking to rewrite a few of our internal tools:
A small webserver for managing ~300 members (likely <10k requests/mo)
A small webserver for managing vendors and sponsors for occasional events (<5k requests/mo peak)
A small Discord bot that connects to the membership management database
I'm planning on writing all these services in Rust (mostly as a learning experience and resume padding). Would a single e2-micro instance and Firestore on Google Cloud be able to handle these workloads? Or is there a better way to host these (the Discord bot unfortuna ..read more
