Yeri just won a J60 title as a qualifier, destroying the No. 1 and 2 seeds, 6-1 6-4 and 6-2 6-2! She turned 13 in January and this was her just her second juniors tournament! Because there's already a thread for Tammy, I've decided to start one for the other Thai players. Jan won 2 straight $10Ks in India. She'll now take 4 weeks off before going to Australia for some $25Ks. Ploy & Gift will play a $10K in Japan next week, followed by $10Ks in Indonesia. Robbee lost 1st rd of qualies in Shanghai. I wonder where she'll play next. Maybe Asian Championships or Japan Open qualies ..read more

I am making this thread since Indonesian tennis has been maintaining its glory particularly in Asia from 1960s until now and in the modern era with the emergence of Yayuk Basuki to sneaked into top 20 WTA in 1997! And I am personally believe that 2003 is the beginning for Indonesia to go back to basic by focusing more on quality development for its young players despite of many controversies!!! I dedicate this thread for Indonesian crazy fans home and abroad!!! Go, Indonesian tennis... Indonesian tennis ..read more
