Alright don’t flame me for being stupid, I know some stuff about guns but not too much, I was wondering if it’s possible to modify an AR-15 airsoft lower receiver ( one of the metal ones) to fit and feed a real AR upper? The metal is probably much shittier grade on the airsoft lower than a real lower, but does it matter as much as the upper since it’s not actually shooting the bullets? I would just do .22 if that is the case. I also don’t have a machine shop or anything, so I can’t do anything that requires a 3D printer, CNC machine or lathe, etc. Any thoughts?

12$ worth of plumbing supplies and a 30$ 12ga chamber adapter. Once I get everything sorted out and fitted it will be a good base for all calibers and configurations. This will be a singleshot pistol for testing.
