I'm wanting to switch from Opera GX but Idk if other browsers are any different. What are some better browsers?

Absolutely sick of Google shoving its shitty AI in my face with no way to turn it off as well as several sponsored links before I get to anything relevant to what I searched. Looked into switching back to Microsoft Edge and I had Copilot thrust in my face, however I'm glad I can turn it off for the most part. Any experiences with Firefox? I've heard duckduckgo and Brave are leaning into AI and I worry it will eventually turn it on with no off switch.

https://www.techradar.com/pro/security/hackers-hijack-arc-browser-windows-launch-with-malvertising-campaign
Just saw this on my phone. Apparently it's being a victim of malvertising. Malware distributors have taken out a Google search ad that makes it appear to be legit but instead is downloading an infected file from MEGA, likely an infected build of Arc.
If you're downloading Arc, make sure that the only source yo do so is arc.net! BCNY does not host it anywhere else!

I've done a little trial and error, and it seems that when I'm in incognito or logged out all the images appear across the screen, but when logged in it's only the left half.

Not history, historical apps I mean haha.
Mine ones:
IE (2006-2013) -> Chrome (2013-2019) -> Edge/Safari (2019-2024) -> LibreWolf/Orion(2024-present)
What about you?

I Had a Lot of Browsers And Right now I Use Chrome...... WHICH IS RUBBISH FOR EFFICIENCY. Every time I play a YouTube video it uses like 1.5 GB Max random access memory. So I need a new Browser. Any suggestions?

I want to install a comfort browser to soothe my mind with calm and glossy frutiger aero vibes while i use the wayback machine or browse old websites.
Since these versions of IE are long deprecated and unsafe to use, i was wondering if there was any sort of revival project or chromium based vanity browser that fully copies the IE7 frutiger aero UI
