I have a 2020 X5 40i .. Today I went to the grocery store, when I came close to the car like always I got the remote to open the (both) rear hatch. The bottom did not lower at all and the upper opened partially. Got hiome and opened it again with the remote and it worked fine. Anyone have this problem? Folks, I tried to put a VIN into realoem.com to look up a part for a friend. Last 7 of the VIN are 9C05509 But RealOEM said the VIN is invalid! Then I tried bimmer.work and m.vindecoder and both couldn't find any info on this car. Full VIN 5UXCR6C05L9C05509 The only 2 places that found any info was www.bmwsections.com and the NHTSA recall search function. Any idea what's going on with this phantom VIN?
