Hey guys! Has anyone paid attention to the paint thickness on our X5 LCI? I measured the paint thickness on the rear and it was over 300 microns. The front is 100-120 microns. I’ve started another thread with this issue but seems there are some differences in US vs OZ implementation of speeding warning. Here is the issue: On my X3, ID6, speed indicator in HUD used to change color from white to red as soon as I go over posted speed limit. On my X5 ID8.5, it only flashes the speed limit display(sometimes) and there is no change in color of current speed readout. It seems US version does still change color. So after seeing very concerning pictures of used mss springs for sale with shocking defects & I double checked my brand new mss lowering springs which I purchased of from r44 performance for the f95 X5m & after close inspection I have discovered they have many bad marks on them which looks like they have been touched up & quite badly done too �� Surely this is definitely not normal at all especially for items BRAND NEW . “Reduced Driver Assistance” when I turn the car on, with entire infotainment black. Happened today and while it’s been at least 3 months since the last occurrence, this is probably the 5-6th time since I purchased in June 2023. When this happens, climate, radio, nav, nothing can be used. I can’t even use voice command to try to turn them on/off. Thankfully today when I turned my car off the AC was on, and it kept that setting once I turned the car back on despite the screen being black. I am pretty confused on how lighting works when the vehicle is off. Just got a new 2024 x5 and have made many trips to the garage to adjust settings, etc. each time, I typically don’t actually start the engine. Screens and lighting come in when I get in, then I get out. Oftentimes, I will look in the garage 15 minutes later and the interior ambient lighting and the dash screens will still be on…. Or the Parking lights will still be on. I will often just turn on the engine and then turn it off to prevent the lights from staying on, but is there something I’m missing?
