I have a 2024 X3 with M sport package. When I found out the car had run flats I figured I would have a while to see what I would have to do to get rid of them. I got a puncture on one with 10K miles on the car the other day so I'm replacing one now. I also own a 2004 E46 M3 which has a mobility kit instead of a spare. Is it possible to use the same wheels on the X3 and just go to non run-flats or do I need to buy new wheels. I feel it's worth it. I did not buy the spare donut tire and I'm kicking myself for that. I've bought a 2008 e83 lci about a month ago and I'm having a strange problem with the AUX input that I can't find the solution for anywhere. What happens is as follows: I have my AUX cable plugged into the AUX input in the back of the armrest. When I enter the car I plug the other end of the cable into my android phone. I can hear the speakers make that noise that they always do when you plug the aux in, and then nothing happens. It's like I've never connected it. Hello everyone, The transmission warning and brake system lights turned on while driving on the highway. I didn’t notice any difference in performance before or after both lights came on. I kept driving to my destination and turned off the car. Once I turned it back on the lights on the dashboard were gone. This is the second time this happens. Got an odd uneven braking feel at very low speeds (when decelerating from about 5-0 MPH slowly). Feels like the rear calipers are engaging ahead of the front so I'm getting a thump thump feel as it stops. Would any kind F25 or F26 owner with a few minutes to spare mind taking a few measurements off one of their sun visors? I am trying to compare it to my F10 visors. I am hoping they are similar enough that I can swap the extending internals from the F25/26 visor into my F10 visors. F10 sunvisors can swing to the side, but can't extend. Need to replace the actuator gear which I've done once before so thought it would not be difficult. The 18mm head bracket bolt was frozen and i finally got it to turn however it took the mount with it and the mount is rotating with the bolt so bolt is not backing out. Is this mount for supporting the whole transmission as well? Seems the whole transmission is moving slightly as I turn the bolt along with the mount. Anyone had to replace these ..read more

Hi Everyone, I'm at a bit of a loss.. my mechanic told me it could cost $15k to replace the SCR module on my 2015 X3 28d, and I'm turning to this forum for thoughts. I'm told we could work around it by finding a used wiring harness, so we can chop off the connector and splice the individual wires... but this is proving difficult to find. He found one in Europe from an X3 28d, but we're not sure if the connector we need comes on the main harness. Does anyone know if the European harnesses are the same as those in North America? Hello, I am new to the forums and looking for some guidance. I do not have a code reader and I am not the most mechanically inclined person. I just replaced my battery on my car that seemed to die all of a sudden, but was still under warranty so I got a replacement.
