My 2001 S glass window fell out of the top. It didn't break. the top was installed in 2015. The installer says he can't glue it back in. I'm selling the car and don't really want to put a new top on it. Has anybody had this happen and were you able to get it glued back in? The top is like new otherwise. Hi Everyone! Does anybody have a copy of the wiring diagram that was kicking around on the web that allowed you to keep Traction control / PSM working after an LS swap, I believe it was done on a 996 and was on a company website that performed the swap? I believe it had something to do with a couple of potentiometers fooling the voltage signal to a IAT (at least that's how I remember it). I had this diagram at one time and have since lost it. I found some scoring on the camshaft bearings that are beside the chain on bank 2 of my 2000 2.7 engine. All other bearings are perfect. The engine runs well. Reposting since my other attempt seems to not have made it through... I recently acquired a very cheap 2000 Boxster S 6-speed. It's in a dilapidated state, but still seemed to have good bones on it, rife for fixing up and tuning up. I'm a first-time manual driver, so I imagine my skill (or lack thereof) was putting the driveline through its paces. FYI, this is a post from another thread I have going about an ignition switch/cylinder issue I am having. ----- start of post from other thread ------ I managed to get the ignition lock cylinder out to take a look at it, but I can't get the immobilizer connector off as it appears to be broken on one side. (which also means that this igntion switch cylinder has been out before). See pics. How exactly does this connector work? Does it have two "prongs" and you squeeze it to remove it? What fitting do I need in order to connect a manometer to the fuel rail? I bought one to measure vacuum and fuel pressure, but it only came with a small handful of male adapters, no female and certainly nothing to actuate the stem in the fuel rail's Schrader valve in order to measure pressure properly. Does anyone know what the proper fitting is? I imagine it's some sort of specialty NPT with a pin in the middle, but I don't know how to even start searching. Good Day, California import to Canada. Just had the motor and transmission pulled. Seals hoses and bearings replaced. $6000 in parts - a new lease on life. The car has been roaring for a couple of weeks. Suddenly wouldn't start. After six to eight turns of the key it ignited. Next morning - dead in the water. Do we have a checklist of items to check?
