Hi I'm a newbie to the forum and would like to share the journey to fix my 2000 986 which was suffering from rough idle/limp mode issues. The car was diving great the night before and was parked in the garage as usual. The next morning when i tried to take her out the Idle was all over the place and I couldn't get over 2000revs so I jumped onto google looking for answers. Good evening, I am having an issue with my 2007 Boxster. As soon as I turn the key in the ignition (even before the engine starts), I am having a "PSM failure" message. I can clear the error and the car drives fine, no problem. I have read the codes with my scanner and it's showing me a C153 "Communication steering wheel electronics control unit (drive)" under the PSM Control System. That same code C153 is showing up as well under the AWS Control System, AC Control System, and Gateway Control System. I assume it's a code that's related to some electrical gremlin? Hello everyone I need some advice. I have a Boxter S 2001 with a small oil leak in the left motor mount. I was told that both mounts need to be replaced. It does not leak on the ground and appears minimal at best. Would any of the additives on the market (stop oil leaks ) be helpful and or not cause further issues to the car?
