Working with solid wood baseboard that is locked in by the hardwood flooring. Tearing out and cleaning up for mold/mildew with the damage being solely interior.
Hoping to sand down the baseboard and cut out the Sheetrock right above the baseboard to save bringing up the hardwood or digging out the Sheetrock in patches, but not sure if I can get an adequate fill for the joint given it'll be behind the baseboard. Old home with heart wood so things are tight and I'd like to save taking up the flooring or digging out Sheetrock behind the board...but if it's what I gotta do, so be it. Any advice ..read more

Need some advice on this corner drywall repair. Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but the paint is just peeling up. If I pulled it enough, all the pant would pull up off the drywall.

I removed my closet shelves and this is what behind it. I watched some youtube video but the one they show all have smooth surface and brown paper. Mine have dry wall texture instead of the brown paper. What do i do to match this to the rest of the wall? Can i just paint over it after patching the nail holes?

There is a washer/dryer on the other side of this wall. Carpet at the base board feels detached from the sub floor. That corner in pic 1 is brittle and the drywall and baseboard are separating if you push the drywall. Also, pretty sure that black stuff might be mold, but I’m telling myself it’s just dirt/dust that has collected there….light me up.
