Was exploring a river in Pennsylvania that had a ton of snails, and noticed one with a big hunk of slime on its shell. It was moving around on the rocks fine and looks normal. Is it eggs? Or something completely unrelated to snails that just happened to stick to this fella?

I’m needing a new cover/lid for my 5.5 gallon snail terrarium. The lid I have currently is not very good and fits loosely. I’ve covered almost all of the holes and the humidity is still only getting to 50/55%. All that to say, is this polypropylene sheet safe/good to use? I will obviously cut it to right size and drill some holes. Thank you!

I prefer a medium to large size snail but I’m open to any options you may have. I also prefer to have just one because I don’t want to deal with the possibility of breeding.

I’m looking at cleaning out my snail tank and doing a nice deep clean, but what substrate should I replace it with that’s a bit budget friendly? I wa thinking mainly coco fiber with some fertilizer free potting soil. I’d like to possibly put some small A. Vulgare isopods in there to help clean any mold or droppings.
TLDR would coco fiber and fertilizer free potting soil work good for a small terrarium?

I dunno, man. This little dude hitched a ride on the windshield as I was going to work this morning, and I got attached to him. Clearly he wanted to live since he held on the whole way at 70mph. I kept him in a cup from the gas station with some leaves and enough water at the bottom to keep it humid and spent m ..read more

So my daughter loves snails, and every time it rains here a few Asian tramsnails will pop up on the sidewalks. Shes been trying too keep one for a while, so I got a temporary cube until I get it a bigger tank and the items needed to take care of it. Anyways, I put the terrarium together and had my daughter put the snail in. ONE snail. I now have two snails, where did the other one come from??

I have a bunch of snails outside, so I could make them a terrarium and keep them. I don’t know what they eat but I have doing research and I want to keep some. If you know anything about taking care of these snails please help.
