Hi, I´m currently implement a SaaS Software. The prcocess to create a customer, subscription etc. is not clear for me. I will offer a 14 days testphase without enter any payment details. As software for subscription I´m thinking do use chargebee. My question would be: - Do I create a subscription as soon the user is doing a registration? - Do I create a subscription after the 14 days testphase and he will redirect to an usual billing plan page. At this page he can choose between monthly... Read more ..read more

Hey there, fellow SaaS developers, I've been working on a retirement planning software for the past half a year. It's been a challenging journey, especially for someone like me who started learning web development just a year ago. The main hurdle that's been really testing my patience and skills is the frontend development. An example is a multi-step page form, something which sounds really simple on the surface but is actually complex to develop. I chose React for the frontend and Spring... Read more ..read more

It's just hard to deal with annoying clients sometimes. There are people who feels that they know pretty much everything and wouldn't want to listen to, others explanation. I came across a client who wanted me to remove a configuration. I told him that it's not possible, as that particular table column is still being used in other code packages. Then he wanted me to remove that piece of code and I was like, I can't just do that without knowing the complete flow. It could actually break the... Read more ..read more

It's not easy to keep up with the latest skillset in the niche field. It's very important to understand the new emerging skills and how to incorporate those in your business, to make it work efficiently. I always try to check the latest trends and then try to understand them a little. If I feel that, we will be seeing them a lot in the long run, I will try to get more information on them and upskill myself to keep up with the ever changing business needs. If a business can't change over... Read more ..read more

Do you prefer to takeover a business or to start something from scratch, by yourself?
SaaS Forums

Well, if it's me, I would probably takeover a business than to start something by myself. Well, it's easier to modify something than to create something from the scratch and it takes time to build the necessary connections, exposure, raw material details..etc., However, people often feel that, they might not succeed if they were to takeover a failing business. I have seen many people opting for a new business venture rather than opting for the other option. I was told that, there should be... Read more ..read more

Do you have long-term and short-term goals as an entrepreneur?
SaaS Forums
by Claraviolet

Goals are very important when it comes to the strategic execution of business processes. We should have long-term and short-term goals as well to track the business flow and processes as well. I always have short-term goals as well as long-term goals and I always try my best to meet those goals. If we are not able to meet the short-term goals, it's not easy to achieve the long-term goal as far as I know. So, we shouldn't take them lightly. I know many people who don't take the short-term...
