Hi everyone! I have gleaned a Lot of info from this site but still need some help. I have a AC 650 V2. The AC had the usual choke cable problem and so the carbs were removed, cleaned and the choke replaced and lubed. My problem is that I'm trying to sync the carbs and the rear carb has all the Vacuum! Changing the PMS screw settings doesn't seem to help much and I don't want to break the sync screw loose unless i must. I have read the tutorials on doing this but one thing they never... This weekend, my headlights stopped working. Checked the usual stuff and then pulled the ignition switch. One pin corroded and broke. I was able to solder it to get it working for now since we were camping for the weekend. I tried looking up to replace it but they don't list a repair kit for this. Replaced the flywheel rotor with the rmstator rotor and the stator. It starts and idles like a dream. All forward gears are great but I have no reverse. The shift lever moves but it won’t go backward. When the shift lever is in reverse, it won’t start (that’s what’s supposed to happen Right?). If I put it in gear while the shift lever is in reverse, it only shifts the forward gears. Is it possible that I put the rear cam assembly together improperly on re-assembly ..read more

Hi everyone. My son obtained a 300 4x4 as a project. It had almost nothing left of the electrical system no carb and no air box. The rest seems pretty solid for its age. For the electrical we have completely gone through the electrical system with new Chinese parts and it seems to be in good working condition now. Nice hot spark, battery charges, all the features of an engine electrical system seem to work. Update: it was the flywheel magnets. Opened it up and they were sliding around like they hadnt a care in the world The internet said 3-4 hr job. I did it in 7 because I like making silly mistakes. Anyway, once I got ‘lil red back together, she started immediately, grabbed and held idle. I have 5 forward gears and reverse. Hello, I've randomly run into an issue where the cat won't start. The cluster reads 39psi fuel pressure (pump runs and sounds normal) - would this really stop it from injecting fuel (book wants 43psi)? My other thought was maybe a clogged injector. I did get it to start and run fine once yesterday, but other than that it has been a lot of cranking with no fire. I have a 2009 550 H1 EFI. I heard a grinding/clunking noise from the clutch case so I took off the cover to check the belt. It also idled very poorly and would die unless it was really at a high idle. I am pretty sure the noise is the one-way bearing. Now out of no where I cannot put it into gear. It runs fine in neutral and the clutch looks like it’s working when I rev the engine, but if I try to put it in gear it makes a grinding noise, seizes up, and dies. Could this be caused by the... Anyone out there with a 2002 Arctic Cat 500TBX that could give me the length of the rear shock? Mine is blown up and the rod is missing. I should be able to get any other needed dimensions from the parts I have. The part (4040-040) is NLA and it appears was only used on the TBX in 2002. Hi, I have a Access 700 ATV that has sat in the shed for months. I tried starting it a few months ago and the starter motor magnets shattered. A new one just arrived. I fitted it and a new battery. when cranking it sounds like it is seized. initially it turned the engine a little bit and stopped like it was jammed. it then would not turn the engine at all.
