If any of you were looking for a hot deal to stay overnight at INSPIRE resort, near ICN T2 terminal, I guess this is it. https://book.rguest.sg/onecart/wbe/o...tainmentResort is the resort's coupon/offer webpage, and if you input the apparently secret Product/Promo Code ('상품 코드' on the webpage) "MOMENTUM1" you'll get access to room bookings that are only 159k KRW (including tax). At today's exchange rate, that's only USD 117. It's like 70% off the usual room rate. (This particular special rate is only good for weekdays for the rest of this month of May. I was even able to use my Amex.) If t ..read more

Hi all, I am looking to travel to Seoul next year with my wife. Seoul has a special place in our hearts and I am trying to surprise her with a business class flight from JFK. We are flexible in dates and I started looking this week knowing we can search up to 355 days in advance for some airlines (ANA) and 330 for other partner airlines (Asiana/Korean Air). Can anyone please advise why I'm unable to find anything on ANA for business flights as everything is unavailable or waitlisted? My understanding is that they release award flights at 9 AM JST on the dot, but the last few days I've been sea ..read more

I have two short holidays to South Korea: 4-5 days in Seoul in May and 4-5 days in Busan in September. I've transitted through ICN a few times but this will by my first real visit. I'm putting together a list of some places to visit/things to do for each trip and I just have a few questions which hopefully others can help with. 1. Is it OK to avoid local currency and instead pay for everything (streat food, convenience shops, train/metro transport, tourst sites etc.) with Mastercard or Visa? If cash is required I can use my Visa credit card at cashpoints (ATMs) without extra fees rather than ..read more

Hi All, I am considering Japan trip with Asiana Arlines. Though, the layover at ICN is only 1h 05min. I have checked latest flights at FR24 and those from London to Seoul are in general always on time, but 1h transit still makes me a bit concerned. Is it enough time, did anyone travel that route with Asiana, please? PS. If flight A lands with a reasonable delay is crew of flight B informed that some of the passengers from the flight A may just be on the way to the gate? Is there any sort of checking flights status by the airline crew if passengers are getting late for the connecting flight ..read more

We're arriving in Seoul late next week for our first visit to Korea. I currently have both the Conrad and the Andaz booked for our time in Seoul and need to cancel one. I've got both Diamond and Globalist status so that's not really a factor in my decision. Both hotels appear to be sold out for the 5 days we're there. They both seem to be about the same distance to what I'll call Central Seoul. Any reason I should pick one over the other? Thanks ..read more

This summer we will fly to ICN and arrive at 4am, and then wait for another family member who will land at 9am. We will be flying in from SFO so it appears that we will arrive in ICN Terminal 1. In the Priority Pass App there is a Sky Hub Lounge at Gate 42 that is open 24 hours. Is it possible for us to head to that lounge after we get off the plane? Also, anyone knows how many guests are allowed for Amex Plat PP for that lounge ..read more
