Hey Guys, Question.. Is it possible to do data recovery on an SSD drive that is healthy, but has been formatted and re-installed? I am asking because my brother wiped and re-installed his machine but didn't backup his steam saved games, thinking the were stored on cloud and could pull them down once his PC was back up and running. Hi, I have an Asus Strix Z590a motherboard and two m.2 nvme pcie 4.0 drives running off of the pch pcie 3.0 slots in raid 0 as a non boot storage array. The system is running a 11700K so its pcie 4.0 compatible but those two secondary m.2 drives are capable of more performance if they were in a pcie 4.0 m.2 slot. So wonder if I move them to adapter cards onto to 2nd and 3rd pcie 4.0 slots I should get double performance albeit with software raid and 5% video performance loss as would switch... Someone I know needed an SSD for a 10 year old laptop, and I had a 480GB Kingston A400 in use, or a 1TB WD SA510 not in use... I cloned the Kingston to the WD and thought that would be it... The performance issue didn't start for a week or two after though, so I don't know if that is the issue. I thought that the problems from cloning SSDs were fixed years ago too... I just installed a new Samsung QVO 860 1TB SATA SSD drive to my new build PC and it has a slow write speed... Latest updated Windows 10 Pro Aorus Elite B450, R7 2700x, OS on 3x SSD in RAID 0, 1x NVMe drive, and this new QVO 1TB that has 550mb's read, Write starts off fast around 500mb's but soon (1-2GB) slows down to just 77mb's, and then shows 100% write speed in Task Manager even at 77mb's. Hello. I am trying to decide between these 2 drives. I plan on using the drive as a secondary drive to store games and possibly files. I know there are cheaper drives but they are not much cheaper(around $100 or less), so I figured I would go for one of the best ones. Hi, I've just upgraded my RAM from 2x8gb 2400Mhz to 2x16gb 3200Mhz. 2400 was really not enough for games since I have 2 monitors and also like to watch yt or have multiple tabs running while gaming.
