Hello, my neighbor is having a problem with her laptop. I was able to have a quick look at the issue the other day and run a few scans. Windows found some corrupted files but couldn't fix them via the "SFC /SCANNOW" command. It appears to be running Windows 8.1. Anyway, on to the issue. The main battery on my Acer Aspire A515 is dead, apparently from always being plugged into AC power. Removing the battery requires removing the rear panel, so I can't just plug it in when I go mobile. The CMOS battery is also dead. I have removed it, awkwardly. I bought SSD card, "Western Digital, Black, 250gb, NVMe, PC SN700" After installing it in my "Aspire 3 A315-51" I have just black screen whenever I turn on my laptop, not loading, nor I can access Bios, just black screen and nothing else.
