This morning around 9 am I set my destination to near 401 & Weston with an arrival time of 10:15am. This is what the following trips looked like. Notice how trip 1 is kinda going in the right direction but then the next one is sort of worse and the one after is a big huge F$%^ you from Uber. Media advertised those hwys as free starting april. Just a heads up if you hop on 412 heading to 401 u will get charged regular toll + camera fee. The 412 and 418 are "free" only if you end up taking the 407? Media did a poor job reporting. I got excited when the news first came up since I drive in the durham region and ended up raking some $22 bucks in fees. Lesson learned. So I got my car totaled a few weeks ago. A 2015 CX5. Had 195k on it when it was involved in a sandwich collision with a pax on board. It was on the 401. Traffic was stopping, and I stopped but the guy behind couldnt and rammed me into the car in front. Guy behind was upset and screaming at me and the guy upfront why we stopped the car. It's 4:55 AM and I'm stuck on the 401 eastbound in Pickering. There is an accident up ahead. The reason I know there's something happening up ahead it's because there are idiots driving against traffic in the express lanes.
