Going for a week in June. Currently have final 5 nts at Atlantis. First two nights we were going to go for something cheaper like Courtyard Marriott or Holiday Inn near junkanoo beach. Both are around 500-600$ range for 2 nts all in.
I also had some chase points i could use to book the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar instead. Cash rate is about 1400 for 2 nts but with points it would be fully covered.
Seems like the restaurants are just as pricy as Atlantis. Leaning against getting a car but is there a way to keep costs in check so we dont blow too much $ on food? 2 adults + 13, 9 yr old . Our first tim ..read more

Can you utilize Atlantis wristbands prior to 3pm check in? I’m getting conflicting information and looking for someone who has been recently and utilized the Atlantis pass. (Or experience where someone was NOT able to access Atlantis prior to 3pm) THANKS!

Does anyone know if this bus map is accurate? https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1PktegK02Pk1d-EOIS1XGJiL1QWwNj34&ll=25.040341298204858%2C-77.4428958&z=10 Couldn’t find any official maps just a list saying the streets names they travel on. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking to consolidate a checked bag between my wife and I given our personal suitcases are full and we were looking to bring a bottle of liquor and a bottle of wine each (4 total bottles). Would there be issue with one bag containing all of that given the limits are per person?

We have a group trip planned to Baha Mar in June. Some of our friends have booked rooms at the SLS, while others are considering the Grand Hyatt. Will those staying at the Grand Hyatt have access to the pools and restaurants at the SLS?

Dear bahamas redditors, I need your help. Brief overview: I am a German citizen currently living in Miami on student visa OPT. My organization applied for an H1B, but unfortunately we lost the lottery. Therefore, I have to wait a year for my next chance. However, my organization also wants to keep me on as a freelancer and my job is fully remote. So I thought that when my visa expires in September, I would move to the Bahamas and work from there. Digital nomad visa and co don't seem to be that difficult, however the cost of living is quite high. I would like to live on a family island (great ..read more

Hello All,
We will be going to the island in September. Staying at the Reef at Atlantis. Everything looks so great on pictures and we are excited!
I am wondering if you could describe some of the beaches on Paradise Island, Atlantis area.
How deep, any good snorkeling, any good wildlife?
Thank you!
