Would 2 be ok too?
If not, I’ll try to get just 1 – might be easiest option, annoying can’t use onboard but oh well.
When it comes time to upgrade this current PC, will get a standard ATX board and maybe all nvme ports will have heatsinks on them and be in easy to access locations.

Great idea if your motherboard supports 16 lane pci-e slot on the motherboard and a bios that accepts x4x4x4x4 settings.
I don’t think your ASUS MB supports the Bios option, but worth checking yourself on your PC just incase
