New Apps launched for Android and iOS Over the last few weeks there has been a number of releases of the iOS and Android Apps to make them consistent and there are more releases planned.  We frequently receive questions about how to do things in the App so we have put together a couple of summaries which we hope will help. Android App On the surface, the Android App has not changed that much but it is now more responsive and more consistent.  It allows you to connect over bluetooth or via the internet.  The key thing to remember is that the signal icon (bottom right on t ..read more

Robot Lawn Mowers Without a Perimeter Wire (2023) At the start of 2022, we published an article asking if 2022 was going to be the year when robot mowers without a perimeter wire became mainstream.  Our conclusion was that it is likely that it will be a couple of years before the wireless mowers catch up with their flexibility of their wired cousins . So 2022 has come & gone and although there were a lot of announcements, crowdfunding and soft-launches, wired robot mowers are still with us and mowers without a perimeter wire are still ‘bleeding-edge’. With lots of new mow ..read more

Finding a Perimeter Wire Break A bit of background One of my clients had a wire break yesterday and asked me what was the best approach to finding it.   He had a multimeter but didn’t have a wire break detector so I put together a quick ‘How To’ to help explain the approach and sent it to him. Today, I came home and I had a wire break so I thought I might as well publish what I had put together and see if it helped people and if anyone else had any other tips. The only current solution that covers all sizes, layouts and ..read more

Pop-up at Lloyds Banking Group (14th Oct 2019) We setup a pop-up at Lloyds Banking Group at Old Broad Street in the City of London.  This was the first event where we had our platform to show the Ambrogio L60 running and demonstrating it’s drop off sensors. We also had the Ambrogio L35 Deluxe and the Ambrogio 4.0 robot lawn mower models on display. A very tiring day (a 4am start) but well worth it.  As well as many people who had not contemplated buying a robot mower (or even realised that they existed), we also were approached by quite a few people who were already considering pur ..read more
