So I sold off my two Tesoro machines, mortgaged the house, and was ready to buy the Manticore today which I hear so much about. Then I randomly ran into this video with quite frankly is a bit scary if you are spending $1600 for a detector.
*Has this issue of not registering gold jewelry been fixed by Minelab yet?
The video is 12 minutes.
Thanks for your input,

This is what can happen when your brain gets overloaded with data and details of the various detector brands under consideration:
White's, Fisher, Garrett, and Minelab.
While on a late fall camping trip in the Bradshaw...

Hey there all.
I am in the market for a new detector.
I see that the 600/700 lack 20kz and 40kz. Yet the 540 has those frequencies.

BTW, I’ve been swinging a White‘s MXT for the last 12 years.
I was primarily a relic hunter, but now I’m just in it for the hobby.
Haven’t been out much in the last 3-4 years. Just wanting to get back out there again ..read more
