Hi lads, i just built a 2000L indoor pond fr my silver arowana which is currently in a 4 foot growout tank. I do not have much experience with pond filtration. This pond will be stocked with a silver arowana, a cigar shark, a tinfoil barb and maybe 1 or 2 more fish in the future. Can you please tell be how many bioballs i will need if i build a filter using a barrel. Im planning on using a 6000L/H pump. Is the flow rate good enough ..read more

So as I mentioned in there I will be getting a 300 gallon plus tank and I want U.S. Native fish for it I really like yellow bass but I can't get any info on them. And before you say pickerel I already plan on getting a 150+ gallon tank with some pickerel. But I don't really know I really like native fish and I just don't know there are so many options. Also I don't care if it can live with other fish or if it needs to be in a tank by itself. Thanks, Sy ..read more

Hello everyone, I am planning a largish pond build. It is outlined by white spray paint as seen below. The middle portion already dug is probably 9’x7’, so it will be up there in the 3-3.5k gallons. It continues up to the hill side on the left as well, and is probably 16’ from corner to corner. Will be 3.5’ deep. You can seethe mound, which will be 4’ tall, will house both a waterfall and a stream. Waterfall will gradually go down by steps abs the stream will probably curve around... So, they dug it to be i feet deep and about 150 feet long. I’m excited to plant wonderful plants but was curious where you may think I can purchase pond plants and a great selection of them. first picture is before. Can’t wait for it fill up. Completely clay lined ... Huge outdoor pond ..read more
