Good Morning, Not sure this is the correct area but I'm a first time poster. I purchased a new Travato 59GL from Campers Inn in Raynham, MA in January 2024 and picked it up the middle of February 2024. The first few weeks I owned it I discovered the Volta alternator was not charging the batteries. I brought the RV back to the dealership on March 7 and it is now May 13th and I still don’t have the RV back and have no idea when it will be finished. I have had to cancel trips I had planned due to the RV being gone. IT’S BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS!!! I have spoke to the dealership a few times and they ..read more

2019 travato bike rack and screen door

so I have recently had issues on my Travato with two things. 1 - Bike rack broke the snap fit for when you put the rack down. Of course no one carries the part to fix it (see picture of part) so I went to the 3-D printing world and got the part made (about $75 per part because of the overhead of R&E on the part....but now I can get them). If anyone else needs this part I can get one for you at that price. (takes say two weeks). in picture red part is good one from other side and black one the new one 2 - Dog hit sliding screen door on the trailer and broke the sliding mechanism on the bot ..read more

Water Pump Control 2023 Travato 59K

Our van's layout is the vehicle we were looking for when cycling through the RV types (we started with class C went to 5th wheel then to travel trailer over 15 years). What we are not so thrilled about is all the issues with our Travato. Two nights ago, went to bed while camping with fully functional water system. Woke up next morning -- no water pump activation when tap is opened (tank check said 2/3 full). Tried all controls (over door & bathroom) no joy (over door panel said "off" and switch in bath would not light). Checked fuse - good. Opened rear door and tried pump switch on water ..read more

Issues with 1.5" Travato chassis lift

We recently had a 1.5" Van Compass lift kit installed with Bilstein struts and upgraded rear shocks. Vehicle handles very well except now we have a "clunking" sound when steering over anything that causes front suspension to move. The installer has checked all nuts, bolts, etc. Nothing was loose or shows any wear when they actually took the entire front suspension apart after 800+ miles of driving. No rocks fell out of the tight clearances around strut springs and fender. The "clunking" noise can really only be heard at slow speeds (road noise drowns it out). At highway speeds the vehicle do ..read more

Solar charge when chassis power off?

Hi - just traded 2008 Voyage 33V in on a 2018 Era. New to solar (and posting here) so silly question: The rooftop solar is charging but does it continue to charge when I leave the unit parked outside and shut off the chassis power switch? Kinda like guessing whether the fridge light goes out when the door closes. If it does stop charging, might I be better off not shutting the chassis isolator switch off ..read more

Winnebago Timberline Heating issue

I am wondering if anyone else is having a problem with getting the Timberline heating system to work on their Winnebago Roam. I took my unit back to the dealer to have it looked at. After two week and I guess many discussions with Timberline and Winnebago, They told me I could pick my unit up. There were no changes made to the unit or parts replaced. The solution to the problem was that I should wait a couple of minutes after the system failure to turn on and turn it on again. Keep doing this until it turned on. I was told that the problem was caused the the length of the lines (fuel and distr ..read more

Propane tank will not fill above 3/4

Howdy, Finally got 85% of 2023 Travato functional. The last few things (awning, radio reboots, rear bath door construction, mud flaps falling off, and batteries (both coach & chassis)) we've written off mostly due to the backwards slide of Winnebago quality. We will live with the current issues until weather improves, official recall notices are issued, and we win the lottery to upgrade our batteries. Of greater concern is our propane tank will not fill past 3/4 full. I've had multiple propane refilling stations go, "what the heck?" when their systems suddenly stop pumping propane becaus ..read more

Here is all the info. Please help me make a decision. 2023 Solis Pocket, it has 4 slider windows. One of them is hard to open/slide while others are so smooth. Then that one started to leak within warranty time frame. But I did not know the water was from leaking window. Thought it was spill. Only one month after warranty expired, while in storage, noticed the water again and found out the source. Photos at the end of the post. There is no outside caulking around the window. There are some black thing ooze out from the window frame. I think it is a clamp style window. Inside, there is a fram ..read more
