My aftermarket reverse camera is malfunctioning on my 2014 Leisure Travel Van. I have tried two different replacement cameras on the rear of the coach with no results. I checked fuses and wiring and had a repair shop replace the coach batteries. The stabilizer jacks won’t operate, unless the generator is running. This extra power boost does not help the reverse camera, though. All I can see is a black screen and the guides. The panel below the head unit seems to be okay, except the rear camera view switch won’t work. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated and helpful.  ..read more

Help me narrow down an RV

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I've looking at Class B RVs with Mercedes Sprinter and Dodge setup. The biggest concern for me is MPG. Second is reliability.   Here are a few other things I'm looking at: - Bathroom - Kitchen - Interior height (I'm 6'2") - Sleep 2 adults   I am seeing real world results of the Sprinter are not much better than the Dodge, even though some websites claim it gets 20-25 mpg.. I have yet to see someone in the forums say they get that much.  I basically just want a comfortable RV that won't be a pain to maintain or stay in for extended periods (2-3 ..read more

Winter Storage

Hi, I am about to store my class B camper(1999 Dodge Xplorer)for the winter in Wisconsin. This will be my 3rd winter doing this but the previous 2 winters I have been home. I have stored it covered in my driveway plugged into power and have gone out once a month to start it up, run the generator and move it so the tires can rotate a little. This winter I will be gone for 6 months so I will not be able to do that and it will just be sitting there the whole time. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on the best things to do to prepare for that? I have already removed everything I can from the c ..read more

Advice choosing RV

Hi there, I’m completely new to the rv forum world but a friend mentioned it would be the best place to get objective advice and ideas. I’ve lived with a friend in a camper van for the past 4 years and feel it’s time to go on my own with my cat. The problem being that I am still somewhat new to the whole rv world in general. I am completely stuck between 2 class B rvs. One being a 1996 dodge roadtrek versatile with 88,000 miles for $20k with only an outside generator and the other being a 2006 roadtrek popular with 156,000 miles for $28k with no refrigerator. My first instinct would be to go f ..read more

Hi Anyone have any advice on what could be wrong & more importantly how to fix the interior strip lights in a Carado Banff? Blue light comes on on the control panel but no light from the strip itself. One day they were working, next morning they're not. Dimmer is not on low. Fuse is good. Push on under cabinet lights work fine. Any help appreciated, thanks ..read more

2022 Travato 59KL water/cable

Has anyone figured out how to use the 2022 Travato 59KL when camping ONGRID? It appears that to keep city water and cable connected that the rear doors cannot be closed, which is not how I prefer to camp. Is there a way to re-route (or add to) the water and cable connections to a nearby spot that bypasses the door (especially for cable)? I'm thinking some sort of extension attached to the existing cable port and then threaded to the side ..read more
