The only challenge with the install was to bore out four existing holes to accept bolts that are compatible with the FrontRunner. Once that was done it was a very easy and clean install. Everything looks and feels top notch ..read more

New guy here. New to RTT’s. Picked up a 2 yr old used Tepui Exp Ayer 2 for my 00 LX. Any areas prone to fail on these tents? I bought new mounting hardware for my Gamiviti expo+ roof rack. Mattress seems decent enough for a few trial runs. Anyone coat there tents with water proofing spray…I’ve used KIWI camp dry spray on my ground tents in past. I can tolerate being a little cold but not even a little wet when I’m sleeping ..read more

Hello, anyone running the victory 4x4 roofrack with ikamper skycamp tents? I’m having issues getting the skycamp mount 2.0 installed because of low profile, it’s also super hard to get under to install it on the victory 4x4 roof rack mounts. Any tips or products that could help? I’m doing this alone so it’s a bit of a challenge. I’m in the bay area ..read more

I've been seeing ads for someone marking these pumps up and reselling them as an overland accessory with some adapter piece.
Well guess what... these fit without that extra piece they are selling. Pop off the little cap on the jerry and it slides right on.
just grab your own on amazon https://amzn.to/4307msz there are multiple sellers and they are cheap and work great. No more spilling water trying to pour the jerry ..read more

I'm curious if anyone has experienced this issue with their lid latch. I'll try my best to explain the issue by using pics!! I drew horizontal lines where the plastic used to be and now they've bent upwards. I think four years of the lid slamming down on top of the fridge caused the plastic pieces to bend upward, just enough to where the latching mechanism can't do its thing. I'll take the lid off and see what can be done but figured this fridge is so common that others might be having...

Hello everyone,
Would like to start my own project with my 2006 prado 120 and build a RTT with extruded aluminium.
Tried for sometime to find international supplier for the mounting feet (6) but couldn't find any.
If anyone knows about such a supplier, let me know...
If you have any diy ideas - I'm open for ideas.
