I use a Sony FDR-AX700 video camera to feed OBS via an HDMI cable. I now have need to run the camera about 90 meters from the PC so a conventional HDMI cable won't cut it. Do any members have experience of long fibre optic active HDMI cables of 100 meter length? Could one be strung off supports... Camcorders, Action & 360 Cams & Video Making Forum ..read more

Hi, I'm in the process of extending my house and with ceilings/joists exposed, I have the opportunity to chase cables into the space. I need to carry two HDMI signals from an amp (Yamaha RX-A4A) in one location, to a wall-mounted TV (LG C9) over a 15+ metre throw. I've done this in the past... So my Philips TV supports VRR and (I’m pretty sure) 120Hz but my Marantz AVR is a a little older and only supports 4K HDR up to 60Hz, although it does do Atmos and Dolby Vision. I want to connect my PC direct to the TV for the best video signal, but I’d also like to use Atmos if possible. I... PC Gaming Rigs & Peripherals + PC Games Forum ..read more
