I recently purchased an LG 55" UQ7570PUJ tv, which only has 2 HDMI inputs (and no component or other inputs). At some point, I may want to connect 3 or more devices: a 4K cable box, a Blu-Ray player, and a gaming system. A few questions: 1. Are HDMI switches compatible with 4K? Will it cause any problems with the sound? 2. Which devices should be connected to its own HDMI input on the TV, vs which to the switch? I'm going to be running new cables from my audio rack to my display. Currently I'm running a HDMI over cat5 externder and it doesn't support 4k or eARC. I bought a Cable Matters 50' 2.1 cable and it works for providing video but doesn't appear to work for eARC. Recently replaced my old failed 42" plasma with an LG 55" C2 OLED TV. To keep from replacing my Pioneer SC-75 AVR (it will not pass more than 25.0 Hz video) I purchased an HDMI audio extractor. Its working great. I recently upgraded my TIVO from the old HD Tivo to the Bolt but ran into an output problem. My older Tivo had two video outputs-one hdmi and one component. For my set up I have an overhead projector as well as a plasma. I do have a Blu Ray player which is attached via hdmi to my projector but I ran a component set of cable from the Tivo to the projector and an HDMI cable to the plasma. Hi everyone. I've been using Yamaha HTR-3067 with LG TV connected with HDMI cable (ARC Port) to control the receiver with TV remote controller. It has been perfectly working, but suddenly the volume control with TV controller does not work. Power of the receiver turns on and turns off with TV, but only volume control does not work, assuming some kind of sync is not working. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
