I see everything from the Titanic and Astor angle but I want to know what the movement was and what extensive restoration was done after it was recovered. Is there an article from the watchmaking side and not the celebrity side? All I see is it is a 14k Waltham with his full initials on the cover

Neighbour found this in our driveway while digging a trench. House dates back to 1850, not much to go on but anyone able to tell me anything about it?
It's not magnetic and feels pretty heavy given the mechanism is missing. In the UK.

I bought this half complete movement in a watch lot 2 years ago. I don't exactly know what kind of watch it could have been I'm guessing an alarm one? It is a big movement 55mm. If anyone has more info on this I'd love to know about it.
