We have been seeing a rise in cases of stomach upset in dog and cats, which will typically present with diarrhoea and often vomiting. If your pet is otherwise active, drinking and eating, several days on a bland diet (boiled chicken with rice, or Hills I/D or similar) can help the symptoms resolve quicker. Ringworm is a fungal (yes, not actually a worm!) skin disease we occasionally see in young or immune-compromised animals. Lately however, we have been seeing a rise in cases in our area. Symptoms include patches of hair-loss, with flakey or inflamed skin, and sometimes red/pink rings. These may be itchy, or not itchy. If you suspect your pet may have ring worm, avoid touching them until they ..read more

New Years Eve is quickly approaching which means fireworks and parties which can trigger noise sensitivities in dogs. Although it may not be possible to avoid the noises.
