Each year, the Children’s Museum of Richmond offers a college scholarship for a high school junior who most exemplifies the character of CMoR’s Snow Ambassador. The Snow Ambassador should demonstrate creativity and act as a role model for all children, regardless of their age, ability, or background. My name is Shiri Abramovitch and I am a VCU Occupational Therapy Doctoral student graduating in May 2023. I had the opportunity this Spring of 2023 to partner with the Children’s Museum of Richmond to collaborate on some new opportunities to increase play and learning experiences for our museum visitors who are under 12 months of age.  The Little Farm is a fun exhibit for your young baby to enjoy! Dear Children’s Museum Family, It’s been an inspiring and eventful year at the Children’s Museum of Richmond and we are so very grateful! Museum and field trip attendance has surpassed expectations, at times exceeding our pre-pandemic totals, and has only continued to grow. The Children’s Museum of Richmond is proud to partner with Cristo Rey Richmond High School for their work study program. In addition to each Cristo Rey student’s full course load, they participate one day each week in a Corporate Work Study Program at partnering companies. This program funds the majority of their tuition and helps them gain invaluable career readiness experiences. We are excited to have two students with us this school year!
