I have been trying to make a hard start and hopefully fun to manage version of this game. Unlike the RT family, there is no map editor and the game people don't seem to allow posts of saved games. In my latest attempt at a slow start, I monkeyed with the cash to get a measly 77,608DM starting amount. Version 1.00 to 1.04 from CD on Windows 10. 1.00 works fine When I try updating the game to 1.04, the intro video plays on next launch, then crash to Windows at end of video or when I skip. 1.04 goes to the install directory for RRT3? The default file path is C:\ and stuff, it has no sub folders after rrt3. For me the directory is D:\Games\Railroad Tycoon 3. My username comes from one of my HO scale models. A model of Canadian National 3125 which was an RS-18 (Road Switcher with 1,800hp prime mover) built by Montreal Locomotive Works, Alco subsidiary. Hey all first post here. I have been playing Alternate USA and I am truly stuck with the best approach for Roosevelt and delivering corn. In the few games I have played there are no warehouses. There are only scattered cattle, sheet, and dairy farms. At most I can only get 2-3 farms per location. Any advice on how to get 35 corn delivered to so many locations over such a large distance? Just joined after using notes and comments contained in the forums to get Railroad Tycoon 3 installed on my new Windows 10 PC. Originally ran it years ago on a Vista based system and just dug out the old CD/DVD so thought I'd try it again. Was a bit of trial and error to get the sequence of patches/fixes correct, but got there eventually. I've written up some detailed notes now, so if anyone want them I can post here. Now it has been a goodly amount of time since my last posting, and sort of getting lost in your new "creation" of the website.
