I I’m a single woman/solo traveler but I want IN on this Nayara thing. I only just discovered them. I’m single and not rich (but if it’s worth it, I’ll splurge). I want to feel excited about my trip in December. Others have asked about Nayara for singles on Reddit but weren’t really answered, which is why I’m starting this thread. Which of the 3 Nayaras, if any, might work for a single lady?

We have rented an SUV and are doing the drive from Monteverde to Santa Teresa using the main highways.
We will be traveling to Manuel Antonio after Santa Teresa and are curious if we should drive the same route back? I know there is a ferry option but not a huge fan of boats.
Thanks!

I will be in CR for 12 days, flying in/out of San José and willing to travel a little bit to get away from the crowds. I am a solo female in my early 20s, looking for active, budget-friendly adventures. I am already going to Piedras Blancas and the surrounding areas. Any local (affordable?) windsurfing/kiting schools on the coast? Also, what are some towns with hostels I can explore?

I (20M) want to immerse myself in a Spanish-speaking environment because I've been learning Spanish for two years and want a chance to use it all day every day for a time period because it's fun and because I want to get closer to fluency. I chose Costa Rica because I want to try fresh tropical fruit and because it's the safest in Latin America.
I've been in college for the past year and a half but I've realized computer science is probably not for me and I don't want to keep spending money on a degree that I probably won't ever use. I know it is probably not the best decision economically be ..read more

My family and I plan to spend two days in Monteverde next month during our CR trip. We plan to do a guided trek at the cloud reserve and also take the Zipline/canopy tour with Treetopia. I am wondering if it is also worth taking the hanging bridge tours at Treetopia, and whether it offers anything better/different than the Monteverde cloud reserve. Appreciate feedback. Thanks.

Hey all! My wife and I are headed to CR for a family members destination wedding and we have a few days beforehand that are open for some adventures. I’d love to hear any good recommendations.
We fly into and out of Liberia, and it’s a Sunday June 9th thru Sunday the 16th trip. The wedding is Saturday at a hotel near Playa Hermosa, and we are staying at the hotel from either Wednesday or Thursday thru that Sunday.
Any ideas about good excursions for a few days before the wedding?? Ideally it would involve rainforest or nature since we’ll have multiple days at the beachfront hotel. Also I woul ..read more

i think it’s just a result of people not knowing how reddit/forums work so really nothing against yall. not gonna link any bc i don’t wanna brigade or make anyone specifically feel bad but if you look at the front page on any given day like nearly half the posts have poor titles. post titles shouldn’t be “la fortuna” and then the post body says “i’ll be in la fortuna for 3 days and am wondering if i should do canyoning or ziplining” or something like that. you should just put that full entire question in the post title, that is more likely to get you better/faster answers and more knowledgeab ..read more
