DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The news of the day in 206 sprint racing comes with Cup Karts North America’s announcement that their Cup Karts South division will close its four-event 2024 series at Daytona International Speedway’s 0.56-mile kart track this Memorial Day weekend. Daytona will replace Bushnell (Fla.) Motorsports Park, where the Cup Karts South season closer was originally scheduled. The May 24-26 date remains in place.
