DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The news of the day in 206 sprint racing comes with Cup Karts North America’s announcement that their Cup Karts South division will close its four-event 2024 series at Daytona International Speedway’s 0.56-mile kart track this Memorial Day weekend. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The first Cup Karts North America race in 2024 took place Feb. 2-4 at 103rd Street Sports Complex in Jacksonville, Fla., where dozens of MGM Chassis racers and teams enjoyed a successful event at the historic 0.7-mile kart track.
