As Activision gears up for the launch of the Call of Duty Modern: Warfare 3 pre-order beta next week, EA has announced it will be hosting a "free access" period for Season 6 of Battlefield 2042. It's available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate too! Battlefield 2042 is experiencing something of a resurgence, if new PC player counts are anything to go by. The futuristic EA FPS, which is almost two years old at this point, hit a new peak player count on Steam recently - and it has continued to match its launch window numbers since. EA Play baby! EA has revealed that Battlefield 2042 will hit Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, via the EA Play library, with the game's Season 3 launch.
