United Autosports has completed its driver roster for the 2024 running of the Le Mans 24 Hours, with the news this afternoon that Bijoy Garg, Oliver Jarvis and Nolan Siegel will compete in the team’s #22 ORECA in LMP2. IMSA has released the entry list for the Motul Course de Monterey, which takes place 10-12 May at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The ten full-season GTP entries will be rejoined by nine cars from GTD Pro, and a further 15 GTD entries to bring the total to 34. The Michelin Le Mans Cup grid is once again full to capacity with a huge 41-car grid for the second race of the 2024 season in the South of France at Le Castellet. The grid will consist of 30 LMP3 and 11 GT3 cars, with 28 teams and 82 drivers representing 20 different nations, including five French teams and 19 French drivers racing at the first of two home events. The GT World Challenge Europe and GT4 European Series season finales at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit have been moved back by one week to 29th/30th November 2024, the SRO has revealed. Ahead of this Saturday’s Fuji GT 3 Hours Race, the Autobacs SUPER GT Series has announced a small change to the series’ new qualifying format. The 107% minimum time requirement has been dropped from Q1 and will only apply to Q2. Teams are now simply required to record a time in Q1, and then set a time within 107% of the average of the three fastest cars in Q2, to be able to qualify for the race.
