Hey guys! been having this issue for quite a bit now. My evoque likes to rev by itself while idling and sometimes at standstill traffic. Car will hold rev at about 800-1000 rpms then randomly drop down to 500 with almost an exhaust burble sound on the release. It will then climb back up to 1000 and repeat. Has been super annoying recently. Has anyone had this similar issue or know any common causes ..read more

Hello everyone, I'm currently considering purchasing a used 2018 Range Rover Evoque priced at $22000 from an online listing, but I find myself in a bit of a dilemma. While the seller initially seemed trustworthy and came recommended by a friend, I'm now facing pressure from him due to another buyer offering a higher price. I'm turning to you all for advice on how to proceed wisely in this situation. What specific areas of the car should I pay close attention to during inspection, and what... 2013 Evoque dynamic, thru this fault 2 weeks ago. After a week, I put in a new AGM battery. Week 2, fault still there... Car is charging fine....old and new battery turned over fine, even in -20C temps. Metering the BMS fusable wire link from ground to battery + shows just 11.4V... Same wire to positive side shows full battery voltage, measured from battery ground. The battery monitoring system is a part of the battery ground lug. Is that 11.4V low? Should it be same as battery voltage... Charging system fault ..read more

Hi All, I have a 2012 Range Rover Evoque with the powered liftgate/tailgate. Today when I went to open it, it started opening and then I heard a loud bang as the left strut popped off. What caused it, was the ball stud which is screwed into the E-Pillar/body snapped clean off Unfortunately the threaded stud is still left in the body. How am I meant to get the rest of the threaded stud out so that I can replace it?? There is no room to get a drill or stud remover in there because of... 2012 Range Rover Evoque Powered Liftgate Ball Stud Snapped ..read more

I have a 2016 Evoque and the passenger headlight went out. Come to find out it is an LED light and you can't just change a bulb. Replacing the whole housing is the only option and that thing runs about $1,900 new. After some research I found they made this model with a Xenon HID option as well. Those are much cheaper to replace. Would I be able to just replace the whole housing out with an HID housing without any other modifications? Do you think it would mess with the computer? The pin... Hi everyone, My wife has an issue with her 2020 Evoque R Dynamic s. We were driving one day on a straight flat highway and then all of a sudden an error message appeared, 'forward alert not available above 80kph', the message appears every time the car is switched on and it can be dismissed but there is still and 'i' displayed on the dash, and she has no cruise control. Took the car into the local JLR as she only bought it in January as i assumed it was just a standard error message that... Dear community, DPF is broken just after 45000 km., error code tells that no cleaning and regeneration is possible. average daily drive has been around 12 km, weekends longer trips.. What could be the real reason for this bug for a relatively young car (2019)? Should I contact the HQ customer service to let the car check for figuring out the real reason? Repair cost is around 5000 euro acc. to my dealer, only a new original DPF costs 2550 euro. olus 4 sensors around it. Is there any... RR Evoque Diesel 2019 -DPF defekt ..read more

Hi, i've got a P2251 code (Oxygen sensor negative current control circuit open. Bank 1 - sensor 1) so I thought i'd take it out and have a look at the condition of the wiring etc before ordering a new one. Has anybody got any experience in removing one if these? I've remove the heat-shield next to the turbo so can see the sensor (just about!) but can't for the life of me figure out where the wire goes and where it's clipped in. I can't get my hand in far enough to follow it down and can't... Changing o2 sensor on 2ltr ingenium engine ..read more
