Yes, it seems like Apple, in general, doesn’t listen to feedback too much or, at least, doesn’t seem to follow up. I switched to Mac only a year ago and even if I love it more than Windows, there are some very basic features that are missing and even if people requests them constantly, they don’t do anything. Audio mixer is using X2Pro to get audio from my FCPX 10.6.10 project and into his mixing software. He tells me he’ll have to manually adjust and do a 12 frame ripple to keep synch for one hour timeline because dialog has been changed to 85% speed in several places. This seems odd to me, to say the least… Anyone else experienced this issue ..read more

Hi everyone! This has been an incredibly helpful thread. Thank you! Doug, I work for an education agency that created a DVD series for our state department of education a while back in 2009, and our video editor at the time created the series in FCP 7. Of course, the project director now wants to be able to access and update all those sequences for a revised video release. We have the archived FCP 7 files and associated media, but no way to open and reconnect the hundreds of files.
