Pre-soak with water to cool it down! Bleach is most effective between 70 and 130 degrees. Hello everyone, I got a call today for an estimate on a house with no gutters. Not just that but, the roof is really steep, pretty dirty, and surrounded by plants. I use a 4% sodium hypo mix with some TSP. Now, I know this will kill the plants or at least do them some damage if I just let it sit in the plant bed. I did a couple of roofs this past year with great results using a pump sprayer, but it just takes to long. Can someone help me with a tank and pump setup that I can leave on my trailer and spray 20 to 30 feet? If I leave the pump on the trailer, I'll need a long hose to reach the back of the house/roof.
