Adding onto old theories and experience of mine her overall behaviour has greatly improved and can go 3-4 hours without wanting out. Relatives who cared for her gave her a supplement for digestion and that ran out 10 days ago and during the period where she was with them and until a few days after the supplement ran out she was at her best for toilet habits she only had 1 accident in 2 months after they gave her a cooked pork sausage.
Since supplement ran out she has been getting a bit...

Had Max 5 weeks. He is a rescue Lhasa. He had conjunctivitis and would not let me near his eyes to administer drops. Vet gave him tablets but said eyes would need frequent bathing. I think its coming back again as he will not let me anywhere near his eyes. Watched all the videos and read all the tips but nothing is working. Using force traumatised him and still could not get them in. Worried for his future health if I can't sort this out. Feeling so frustrated and feeling like I am...

Hi all,
I am looking for some advice on puppy diarrhea.
I took Obi (19 week old JR pup) to the vet on Wednesday last week because he had diarrhea and it had mucus and blood in it.
She told me that she wasn't too concerned as puppies eat things they shouldn't and he needed a 'tummy reset', antibiotics incase of any bacteria and probiotic.
She told me to give him a bland diet for 5 days and to reduce the amount i feed him to half until his poop is normal.
He had a solid poop the next day.
He...

Does any member's dog have epilepsy? My four year old Golden Retriever started having seizures last year and is on medication. She has had all the tests, MRI and spinal tap, but no particular reason for it. The problem I have is I am never sure what to do after a seizure, whether to keep her home for the day to get over it, or take her out for a short walk. Last night she had 2 fits in a row starting at 2.30 this morning. I stayed up with her and she is always frightened after, but now I am...

my little dog's left eye has turned gray, and he keeps scratching it. I bought ketoconazole cream and enrofloxacin solution, but they're not working. My dog is quite old and has a bad temper, so I'm afraid to take him to the hospital. What should I do in this situation ..read more

Our boy started being suddenly scared of fireworks 3 years ago. Now it is any kind of bell, beep, buzz etc. We have tried desensitising, calming treats and spot on calmers, no result. He whines and paces, pants and salivates a lot., ok whwn rhw noise is gone.
Our phones have to be on silent at home. Some tv programs have to be switched off, especially if he hears a mobile phone.
Recently he started scratching and chewing himself. Mainly his sides, inside back legs and his tail (he has...

Hi, weird one. I have a 22 month old Labrador and ever since she was 6 months old she's had periods of intermittent vomiting. It takes an odd pattern, she vomits once a day, only once, and is her usual bouncy self - unless I'm very quick she has the vomit gobbled back down - and she won't be sick again for at least 24 hours, usually about 30 hours. I was using Chappie for these bouts until the last one when it didn't seem to stop it and the vet advised I change to Royal Canine...
