So I have two 2012 MacBook uni-bodied laptops and haven’t used in couple years one key board stop working and the other my kid somehow setup firmware password and says he don’t remember it so it boots right away asking for password so I switched the motherboard with my other one that has broken keyboard which was much easier than changing keyboard and now it no longer asks for firmware password but when I tap in my iCloud password to login it says trouble connecting so I tried with guest profile and it says loacalized string not found. My end goal here is to connect my monitor, speakers (aux cable), and keyboard (USB) to my M2 macbook via a single hub -- so that I can easily switch between computers using just one plug.
