Hello, I need to replace the USB charger port and cable on a MacBook A1534 EMC2991. I noticed that the part is quite expensive. Would a USB charger port and cable from an older 2015 MacBook A1534 work with it ? The part looks the same. The only difference I can see is that the older part has a removable cable on the USB socket side. On the newer one the cable is fixed in place. The reason I'm asking is because the part from the older model is less than half the price of the newer one ..read more

Hello there, new to the whole Apple scene. I'm looking to switch from Windows to Apple for university and I've been looking at the Apple MacBook Pro lineups. Initially I was quite firm on the new base model MacBook Pro M3, with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, but then I started watching YouTube videos reviewing the device, and a lot of people say that you shouldn't be paying this much of a premium ($1599) for this basic of a specification. And also, the whole idea of only having one fan compared to the previous 2 fanned generation is quite a put off for me, because all my previous laptops suffer from o ..read more

Hello everyone, I will soon need an USB-C hub for my late 2017 12" MacBook, but I cannot manage to find the right one/the best one. There are THOUSANDS of it but I want to be sure it's a good one and that it has everything I need, because i don't even know which type of USB-C this macbook has (which version ? is it thunderbolt ? if yes which version ?) Basically I want : - a hard connected one, not through a cable : a lot of them are like macbook --> cable --> the hub. I want one that sticks to the macbook, where the male USB-C of the hub is directly on the hub so it stays on the sid ..read more
