As per the title, A friend of mine originally built this car and it was one of a select few that passed the IVA first time.   He sold it to someone in Liverpool but then lost track of it.   He would like to know where it is now. Registration is G994 KOG (ignore the plates in the second picture, it was on a personal plate).  The gov.uk  site shows it has been untaxed since March last year and the MOT ran out last Oct.   So it won't be on the road, it will be sitting in a garage somewhere.   Anyone know of it ?   ..read more

Hi there. I've just bought a Douglas TF, a copy of the 1950s MG TF. I think these might be quite rare as Wikipedia says only 15 were made. I believe that most were based on the Triumph Herald/Vitesse chassis and running gear, however, mine is the Ford Escort Mk1/2 option. Can members confirm the low production numbers? Wiki suggests the Escort version had a chassis developed by Douglas. Is this true? Finally, are there any other Douglas TFs out there. Hi guys, got my rh in Sept last year, today after a long wait I finally recieved my v5, dvla can be a pain, but my question is, on the front it has previous owners 11 is that 11 owners since its been a kit car or is that 11 owners including the doner? 2nd question, it states the date it passed the iva, then has emmisions readings next to the date, is that normal? I've been using a cordless B&D drill for years, but am getting sick of the battery going flat at a crucial moment, the drill slipping in the keyless chuck when drilling holes in stainless steel and the lack of speed control. So time to upgrade !!   Tried to do some comparisons on Amazon but there are just too many and a lack of specific detail. What I am after is:   Multi-Speed Corded Keyed Chuck (Can you retrofit a keyed chuck to a keyless chuck drill?) Hammer ? Hi All! So I may have done something a bit too spontaneous and bought (not to be collected for a couple of weeks) an unfinished robin hood 2B that appears to be complete, minus a brake master cylinder and a dash board by the looks of it. its never been on the road and to be honest it looks like its never been driven at all! it doesn't start but have to take it as it does work from the current owner but seems to have an electrical issue at present that ill bypass to check this when its with me. it has no paperwork at all so will end up on a Q plate I assume (could keep it for track but would li ..read more
