Hi all. I made a post here a while ago about my issues and got a lot of kind and solid advice. Recently, I've been exploring medical options and my doctor has suggested trying out desmopressin. I was told by the doctor, and also by the internet, that desmopressin does have some minor side effects, as well as a major side effect in the form of water intoxication. I'm a Junior this year which mean my friends are all but forcing me to go to prom ? There's going to be an after party that might turn into an overnight stay and I'm absolutely petrified of wetting. I've been reluctantly exploring medical options to hopefully get rid of this problem. One thing my doctor suggested I try is desmopressin. The side effects that were mentioned were mostly minor, and not too common, except for water intoxiciation. I’m UK based m36. For years a Struggled with wetting- almost to the point of self destruction… So I have now diagnosed with a sleeping condition and been given an air pressure sleeping aid…(won’t give too much detail about that in public here-but happy to share if i may help some people) Guesss whaaaat!! turns out when i was going into shock while asleep and that was causing all the problems… been dry ever since! I am having a lot of anxiety and I am wondering if anyone else has been through a similar experience. I have ptsd and some specific nightmares cause my bed wetting. It happens a handful of times a week. I also have an eating disorder. I have lost a significant amount of weight and my doctor, nutritionist, and therapist are very concerned that I will need to be hospitalized or go to a residential ed treatment center. Hello everyone I thought a lot about this and if I really wanted to post about this but I’m also a 24 year old adult who’s been bed wetting for a long time. I have lots of streaks where it doesn’t happen but then vice versa where it starts and I don’t break it for a couple weeks.
