How I Finished My Black Cat Season Banner
Lindy Stitches Blog
by Stephanie Webb
7M ago
Hi friends!  It was my intention to make a tutorial for how I finished my Black Cat Season banner.  But then I wasn't a huge fan of how I did the top!  However I realize some might still want to know how to finish a simple banner like this, so here are the steps I followed. After completely ironing and squaring up your finished piece, you'll want to measure the width of your stitching against the width of your hanger to see how much "extra" room you might have on the sides.  If you are using my Black Cat Season Bell Pull, you'll want your finished banner to be no wider than ..read more

Zweigart Vintage Linens
Lindy Stitches Blog
by Stephanie Webb

We absolutely love the feel and consistency of Zweigart's vintage line.  You can find these fabrics in linen, evenweave, and aida.  The vintage line is a printed linen on one side and a solid on the other side.  The printed side has mottling that resembles hand-dyed fabric.  But because this linen is not reprocessed like hand dyed fabrics, there is no extra wear on the linen.  This means the holes stay nice and crisp, easy to see!  The colors are also great neutrals to just have in your stash!  Zweigart currently makes these Vintage colors:  Blue Whisper ..read more

Lindy Stitches Blog

AIR MAIL will be a series of BIRD STAMP patterns that will eventually cover all twelve months of the year.  Here are some of my FAQ's about this series: 1.  Will they all be on the same fabric?   YES!  I am charting all the Air Mail birds on 32 count Silver Moon linen by Zweigart.  This shade also comes in 36 count linen and 32 count  lugana.  For aida lovers, I recommend 14 count Graceful Gray or 16 count Graceful Gray.  But don't let my choices rule the day!  These patterns will look great on any neutral or gray.  I'd love to see someone ..read more
