Snobby Oscar Wilde once said, “Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative.” I used to think this quote was a bit untrue. Clover Creek (FS15). Windchaser (FS15). County Line (FS15+17). Autumn Oaks (FS17). UMRV (FS17). Mills County (FS17). No Creek Farms (FS17). Lincoln Creek (FS17). Midwest Horizons (FS19). Some of the greatest maps of all time in their respective eras. But does an FS17 map translate well to 19? How well does a 19 map translate to 22? The Marxville, Wisconsin map, first released in Farming Simulator 19, was an important milestone in my development as a map maker. It was the first time I learned how to create roads, animate fans, animate curtains on sheds, create navmeshes through infolayers, create farmlands and field dimensions through GIMP, add seasonal foliage, etc. Just as well, it continued to emphasize my favorite activity in FS and real life farming - dairy farming.
