About the work: This collection is a meditation on what I learned last year. I took on new challenges in my work. Most failed or I didn’t complete them and I was really hard on myself. I've lived on Vancouver Island my entire 53 years. With The Accession Collection have revisited my favourite memories in these locations. I tried adding extra g’s and h’s into the spelling of ugh because of how much I dislike blogging but spell check wouldn’t let me. I have been told that blogging is an essential tool that can help increase my SEO (more eyes on my website) but I REALLY despise writing. My inspiration behind this series is told in the title - Destiny. I was reading an article recently that talked about how fate and destiny are different in the sense of fate being pre-determined and destiny being in your control.
