Hi, Newbie here, looking for advice/guidance. Apologies if this has been asked before. I have an old Mini DV camcorder - Panasonic NV-GS70B. I have also obtained another old DVD camcorder - Sony DCR-DVD310. My question is this - is there a way to connect the two, and copy my films from the old mini DV tapes onto mini DVDs? I have a number of Mini DV PAL cassettes which I want to load on my pc to enable me to edit and eventually create DVD's. My digital video camera is Panasonic NV-DS11B (with no sign of a firewall socket) and my pc is a DEll 4600. I have successfully transferred and edited old VHS tapes to pc using the excellent Easycap product for transfer and Ulead Video Studio for edit. Personally I would not even consider trying to do videos with a camera , too many problems such as over heating - having to change lenses etc etc. To me a camera is for stills and a camcorder is for videos, each is designed for a specific job. Therefore I only use my Nikon D810 for stills and my Panasonic HC-X1500 for videos. Packing a small camcorder into a camera bag instead of some huge heavy "X"mm lens to me makes more sense. Hi Team! I’m a mildly tech-savvy paintballer from Australia with a local field that wants to have some streaming done for their tourneys, to boost the sport as our community is small but growing. For our first round, I used an Insta360 Go 3 and a webcam using 6m USB-C to USB-A cables designed for VR, and while this works it’s not exactly ideal as it’s only from one side of the field and the cameras and laptop all need to be nearby roughly. Hello, I've got this old camera or camcorder might be a bit more accurate (I'm not into cameras too much so sorry), it's the JVC GR-D270 and I want to get the videos from it onto my PC. Hi, I have a trip coming up which will have plenty of opportunities for some action cam activities. I have a very old GoPro 4 Silver, which hasn’t been used for years. Looking for a bit of an upgrade, but only for a 2 week holiday so looking at something second hand. Is there much between a Hero9 Black and Hero 7 Black? Plenty of options from 130-190 on EBay. Both have image stabilising that my 4 doesn’t have, but are the newer Go Pro’s really all that much better for casual use? Thanks ..read more
