First post here, but long Tim reader.
own 3 SOK 206 AH batteries. One of the BMS stopped working and shows 0 charge and a continuous 22 Amp current drain.
I asked SOK to repair the battery, replace the battery, replace the BMS or fix the BMS. Nothing unreasonable.
I have received nothing but a run around.
They tell me everything is fine and the ABC application is the issue.
If I isolate the battery, the power is 0% by morning and shuts down. After recharging, the same issues occur...

Just wanted to give a shout out and thanks to @EG4_Jared, @Markus_EG4 and @SignatureSolarJess for helping out over the last few days. Much appreciated.
All too often we, yes me included, complain when things go awry, but we should also give shout outs for great support. So thank you ..read more

Despite the reputation that Sol-Ark has on this forum, I feel the need to report a none to happy experience of our Sol-Ark installation.
In September 2023, we installed 3 x 15Kw, hybrid inverters, in parallel, as a 3 phase system.
We have seen varying issues, including ramping issues, to which Sol-Ark have applied a firmware increase the speed of the MPPT operation, which appears to have helped reduce the ramping.
However, we have also experienced an ongoing problem with the MPPT input...

I need to release my anger again.
Today I further disassembled my problematic "100Ah" 48V battery from (today's Name) "PAPOOL LiFePO4 Official Store" (they keep changing names more often than I change my underwear).
The battery had some problems from the beginning, i.e. one cell that is in a much worse state than the others leading to early BMS-overvoltage shutdowns and some more, the seller always denied everything (can attach some screenshots if wanted, I chatted over half a year so there...

I've been trying for the last 3 weeks to get a quote for 4 pallets of solar panels from Inxeption and have been unable to. The first person I talked to ended up being the most helpful, but was laid off, the second person sent me a few texts, then stopped responding to texts or phone calls, and the other 2 times I have tried to get a quote i have not received a response. It's a little annoying because I'm just looking for pricing and lead time so i can place the order.
The phone number...

I'm not happy to arrive at this conclusion, especially after building almost my entire system out of their wire. But I've cut into an reterminated two different wires of theirs recently and unfortunately both times I don't like the color. I don't like it enough that I will gradually be replacing it all.
These photos are of Signature Solar's wire on the left compared to Windynation on the right. The wire from Signature is 2 awg and the Windynation is 4 awg, so this is not a wire size...

This is a followup to my other thread about a "cheapest battery available on Aliexpress". The dispute has ended. I've got my money back and I returned the battery to the seller(even though he didn't want it). I'm starting a new thread, because here I'd like to focus on evidence, pictures etc while the other thread has quite a few pages so many people researching this seller may miss it. It
is important to raise awareness of such products for everyone.
To the point, What is the problem...

I’m looking to add a EG4 6000XP to my home. I’m currently selling all my solar power to the grid then buying back what I need. Transmission fees are killing me. So I thought adding the 6000XP would make sense. My goal is to feed the house and only send the surplus into the public power grid. I’m finding people saying yes they use it this way and yet some other ls say you can’t use the 6000XP that way. Some definitive answers would be appreciated ..read more
